UPDATE: Wow. I had this on my wishlist for TWO years! Now they have the Canon T4i. Today, I ended up buying the Canon T3i, and I’m really excited for it to arrive. The T3i is currently going for $579 on Amazon with the EF-S 18-55mm lens, surprisingly cheaper than the body by itself (at $599). Amazon is also currently having a deal until December 29 where if you purchase the camera (or any other qualified Canon DSLR), you get a free 16GB SD card and a free camera bag. I held off on this for a while, but with that deal, I couldn’t resist.
